Kinetik is an AI agent for marketing and product teams that works directly in Slack. It runs research, drafts content, pulls analytics, helps with creator and influencer operations, and follows up on projects — all from your workspace.

How to install
  1. Click Add to Slack and sign in to your Slack workspace.
  2. Review the permissions Kinetik requests and click Allow. A workspace admin may need to approve the installation.
  3. Open a direct message with Kinetik, or mention @Kinetik in a channel it has been added to.
  4. Send any message — Kinetik starts responding immediately. No additional configuration is needed.
Free trial and credits

A free trial starts automatically when Kinetik is authorised in your Slack workspace. Kinetik usage is measured in credits, which are shared across everyone in your workspace. When your trial credits run out, you can buy a credit package on the Kineto website. Credits expire two months after they are issued.

How to use Kinetik
  • Direct message: open a DM with Kinetik and ask, for example, “What are the top AI trends this week?” or “Write a LinkedIn post about our product launch”.
  • In channels: add Kinetik to a channel and mention @Kinetik with your request. Kinetik replies in a thread.
AI disclaimer

Kinetik uses AI to generate responses. AI can make mistakes and produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Please review Kinetik’s responses before relying on them, especially for important decisions.

Data and privacy
  • What we collect: your Slack username and profile photo, Slack user, team and workspace identifiers, your email address (used only to match your Slack and Kineto accounts and to enable integrations you connect), activity metadata, and the content of messages you send to Kinetik.
  • AI models: Kinetik in Slack uses AI models provided by OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Web search: when Kinetik searches the web for you, your search queries are sent to our search provider, Tavily.
  • Retention: message content is retained for 30 days to provide conversation context, then deleted.
  • No training: we do not use Slack data to train AI models, and neither do our AI providers.
  • No selling or advertising: we do not sell Slack data or use it for advertising.

How to uninstall

A workspace admin can remove Kinetik at any time in Slack: Settings & administration → Manage apps → Kinetik → Remove app. To request deletion of your data, email privacy@kineto.app.
