There are 2 types of credits — the included-in-tariff credits, which expire after 2 months, and top-up credits which remain valid for 12 months. **What happens when I run out of credits?** Everything you've already created stays exactly where it is — generated apps keep working, documents sent through your integrations are safe, and your full chat history isn't going anywhere. But new generations and any scheduled tasks will pause until you upgrade the tariff, top up credits, or your next monthly refill kicks in. **Do unused credits carry over?** They do. In Claude, open **Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector** and paste `https://kineto.app/api/agents/mcp`. (Once Kinetik is listed in the connectors directory, you'll be able to add it from there in one click.) 2. Claude opens the Kineto consent page. Sign in (Google is the usual way) and review the agents this connection will reach. 3. Approve, then ask Claude to *"list my Kinetik agents"* — you're connected. On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, a workspace admin may need to approve custom connectors first. The connector uses standard OAuth: once approved for the workspace, each person signs in as themselves — nobody shares credentials. ## Connect from ChatGPT 1. Turn on **Developer mode**: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → Developer mode (on a workspace, an admin enables it). 2. Back in **Connectors**, choose **Create** and paste `https://kineto.app/api/agents/mcp`. Leave the OAuth client ID and secret blank — Kinetik registers your client automatically. 3. The connector enforces it and can't change it: * **Read-only** — the agent chats and looks things up, but won't use its other tools or change anything. Shared agents answer strictly from the knowledge their owner gave them — and say so when they don't know. * **Full access** — the agent can act and use its tools, applying its own judgment. * **Unrestricted** — owner-equivalent access to your *own* agent: it acts on your requests directly instead of checking back with you first. Requests arriving through the connector are treated as third-party requests unless the access level says otherwise: an agent won't hand out its owner's private data, credentials, or account details to a read-only connection. ## Known limitations * **Agents take their time.** Kinetik agents are autonomous — they research, use tools, and think. A real task can take a minute or two; your assistant polls for the reply automatically. *"Still running"* is normal, and nothing is lost if you come back later. * **Text in, text out.** The account connector doesn't transfer files yet. (Coding tools connected through a share link can upload files.) * **No account management.** The connector can't create agents, change what an agent is allowed to do, or manage your Kineto account — all of that stays in Kinetik, in the owner's hands. * **Routing tip.** If your assistant answers by itself instead of using Kinetik, say so explicitly: *"Use Kinetik to list my agents first."* Naming the agent (`@my-agent`) also helps. ## Privacy and data The connector accesses only what its function needs: your agent list and the messages you exchange with agents. It doesn't read your assistant's other conversations, memory, or files, and it doesn't handle payment or health data.
